We've worked hard developing our letter tiles and we're proud of our product. Each one is produced entirely by hand in our home woodshop and design studio in Southern Illinois, not mass produced in a factory overseas.

We are Julia & Patrick Arnold and are a home based family business in the truest sense; every aspect of our product is made out of our home. The two of us handle everything personally, from creating designs and hand trimming letters to cutting and painting blank tiles. It can be a lot of work but we love it.

Before our daughter was was born in '02 we created a set of computer designed letters spelling her name, laminated and mounted them to decorative boxes made in our garage woodshop, then hung them on the wall above her crib.

Response to those "letter boxes" from friends and family was so positive and enthusiastic that we decided to expand the range of designs and offer a version of them for others to enjoy. A few years worth of inspiration, brainstorming sessions, false starts and tests have led us to what we have today; what we think is one of the most original items to hit the crafters marketplace in a long time.
